LondonHouse Chicago Cupola Surprise Proposal

Summer in the city. Sun shining, a light breeze, a 23rd floor rooftop view of the Chicago River, the Wrigley Building and all of gorgeous Chicago. You can feel the extra energy in the air with Lollapalooza just blocks away.

I gaze to the north from the rooftop and await my cue. An eternity passes and I finally hear their voices approaching. I pick my camera up while they begin to walk behind me. I think I’ve stopped breathing. If I’m this nervous, I can’t understand how Sean is still standing. My crazy thoughts are interrupted by an “Oh my god!” from Erin. It’s time to turn around and capture this moment.

In a fairytale setting, Sean is down on one knee proposing surrounded by fresh rose petals. This magical whirlwind moment takes them from boyfriend and girlfriend to fiancé and fiancée. Pop the bottle of Dom Perignon because now it’s a celebration!

Sean chose the stunning Cupola atop the 23rd floor rooftop of the LondonHouse Hotel in Chicago for his proposal.
